DAVID ZINGER

From humble beginnings in February 2008, David founded and hosts the global Employee Engagement Network www.employeeengagement.ning.com. Having built it one member at a time into a force of 6300 members today and growing, this international business community of employment engagement practitioners is dedicated and driven by a single objective to improve employee engagement.  Probably on a scale greater than anyone else on this planet, David comes into contact with employee engagement issues good and bad that streams into his network from all corners of the globe every single day.  By fusing the strength of one with the power of many, David has gone from strength to strength, enabling the creation of a plethora of employee engagement resources for the global business community – blog spots, forums, videos, e-books, case studies and special interest groups. 

 HR Examiner declared David as the World Number 1 Online Influencer in Leadership for 2011, based on the objective criteria of reach, resonance, and relevance.  

 David was bestowed the Outstanding Leadership Award at the World HRD Congress 2013 in Mumbai.

 David is a sought after author, educator, coach and consultant focused on employee engagement.  David founded Zinger and Associates 30 years ago to provide education, consulting, and coaching to the workplace.  He has delivered thousands of keynotes, presentations, courses, workshops, coaching and consultations across the world educating over 45,000 people on work and the workplace. David holds a B.A. and M.Ed. (Educational Psychology).  David has authored 3 books on employee engagement.

 David is known for developing the results-focused, colorful, and connected 14-element model: Employee Engagement for Results.  In 2012 he unveiled the tactical and practical 10-block pyramid to improve employee engagement.

 David has also just started to develop the global Employee Engagement Directory http://eendirectory.com, a directory of leading sources for employee engagement, recognition, management, leadership and organizational development.  In addition David is also in the formulation phase of a certificate and open badge system for employee engagement learning, courses, and projects.

 David is innovative and experimental. He worked for 3 summers making connections between engagement, honeybees, work, and community. David believes honeybees provide an insightful and living model of the social elements of work and the importance of thinking differently inside our hives (organizations).
