Roadmap for leaders to creating inclusive workplaces and
mastering communication to lead effectively
The Leadership Forum Asia 2023 is the first of a series addressing the most critical skills of leadership. This inaugural round taking place in Singapore on 23 & 24 August 2023 will focus on Communication and Inclusive Leadership.
Day One will have Thomas Erikson presenting on Mastering Communication to Lead Effectively.
Communication is the cornerstone of leadership, allowing leaders to inspire, collaborate, and build trust with their team, while minimizing misunderstandings and creating a positive work environment. Strong communication skills are vital for leaders to motivate and engage their team, achieve organizational objectives, and drive unparalleled success.
Day Two will have Sally Helgesen presenting on Bridging Divides through Inclusion.
Inclusive leadership is a fundamental skill for leaders that involves valuing and leveraging diversity to create an environment where everyone feels included, respected and valued, regardless of their differences. Inclusive leadership drives innovation, collaboration, team performance, morale, retention, brand image, and navigates global changes for organizational success.
Communication creates the bridge for leaders to cultivate inclusiveness in their organizations. Thomas’ program is designed to provide leaders with an invaluable reinforcement in a core leadership skill – communication, a skill which empowers leaders to better articulate their organizational objectives with stakeholders, a crucial agenda being building inclusive workplaces - which Sally’s program provides specific practices and actions to take to implement.

SPEAKER: THOMAS ERIKSON

Fun fact: Thomas is a true anglophile. He is a passionate gardener, loves topiary and, if he could wear tweed the whole year round he would. Thomas is also a collector of old Land Rovers.
